How We Helped

We work with United Way Simcoe Muskoka since March 2016 to help them improve their workflows and let them decrease operational expenses using Salesforce as a CRM and financial tool. Delivered solutions include Service Clouds along with Payment and Payouts Wizards and Tools for mass aggregate and calculate data.

WebSolo helped in developing and enhancement of those tools using advanced Force.com development, APEX and Visual Force page.

The solution was so efficient so in 2017 other United Ways branches in different locations across Canada became extremely interested in accommodate Salesforce and existed functionality in their practice.

WebSolo was asked to provide analyses, recommendations, and direction to achieve this and let multiple United Ways branches to use single Salesforce Org. Most of the requirements were around security. United Ways branches should not see each other records but the dedicated administrator should have specific access to particular sets of records for records from different branches.

The solution was proposed and built as POC at Development Sandbox. Profiles, Roles Hierarchy, Sharing Rules, Permission Setting, etc. was successfully tested.

After UAT the same was delivered to Production Org. Existed code updated to meet new requirements. Salesforce Objects settings and other permissions were modified. Data transformation was performed.

Result

At current state solution rolled out for several United Way branches in multiple Canadian provinces.
